Acceptance of Terms
By registering, booking a trip, or using any service offered by Raahi Club, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Raahi Club matches strangers and sends them on group adventures — treks, road trips, and outdoor experiences across India. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Raahi Club. We reserve the right to update them at any time; continued use of our services after changes means you accept the revised terms.
02 — Registration
Registration & Bookings
- Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years of age, or accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate personal details — name, age, emergency contact, and medical conditions — at registration.
- One Booking Per Slot: Each seat is for one individual. Transferring a booking requires prior written approval from Raahi Club.
- Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after you receive written confirmation and payment has been received in full.
- Medical Fitness: By booking, you confirm you are physically fit to undertake the trip. High-altitude treks may require a fitness declaration.
03 — Payments & Refunds
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Important — Please Read
Raahi Club does not provide refunds for individual cancellations once a batch is confirmed. A refund will only be issued if Raahi Club cancels the entire batch. Individual no-shows, last-minute cancellations, or inability to attend due to personal reasons are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
- Batch Cancelled by Raahi Club: If we cancel an entire batch due to weather, natural disaster, force majeure, or insufficient participants, a full refund will be issued within 7–10 business days.
- No Individual Refunds: Once registered in a confirmed batch, no refunds are provided for individual cancellations, rescheduling requests, or failure to attend.
- Rescheduling: In exceptional cases, a seat may be transferred to a future batch subject to availability and written approval. A rescheduling fee may apply.
- Non-Transferable: Bookings are non-transferable to other individuals unless expressly approved in writing by Raahi Club.
- Partial Changes: If certain dates or activities within a batch are modified, Raahi Club may offer a partial credit at its sole discretion.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. Raahi Club is not liable for personal losses arising from your inability to attend.
04 — Conduct
Participant Conduct
All participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly. By joining a Raahi Club trip, you agree:
- To follow all instructions from trek leaders, trip coordinators, and Raahi Club staff.
- Not to engage in any activity that endangers yourself or fellow participants.
- To respect local communities, customs, and the natural environment.
- Not to carry or consume prohibited substances during any Raahi Club event.
- To treat all participants, staff, and locals with dignity and respect.
- To follow Leave No Trace principles — carry your waste out and protect natural sites.
Raahi Club reserves the right to remove any participant from a trip without refund if they violate these standards or pose a risk to others.
05 — Risk
Assumption of Risk
Adventure travel inherently involves risk — altitude sickness, physical injury, adverse weather, and wildlife encounters. By booking with Raahi Club, you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily choose to participate.
- You confirm you have disclosed all relevant medical conditions at registration.
- You agree to follow all safety guidelines provided by Raahi Club and its guides.
- You release Raahi Club from liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by our gross negligence.
06 — Content
Intellectual Property & Media
- All content on the Raahi Club website — photographs, trip descriptions, branding — is the property of Raahi Club and may not be reproduced without permission.
- By participating in a trip, you grant Raahi Club a royalty-free licence to use photographs or videos in which you appear for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing before the trip.
07 — Liability
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Raahi Club shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in any event.
- Loss of personal belongings, travel documents, or valuables during a trip.
- Delays or cancellations beyond our reasonable control — government restrictions, natural disasters, transport strikes.
- Actions or omissions of third-party providers — hotels, transport operators, local guides.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific trip in question.
08 — Legal
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi/Himachal Pradesh, as applicable.
